Best Summer Burger

Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 C oats – steel-cut
- 1/3 C onion – diced
- 2 Tbs reduced-fat cheddar cheese
- 4 whole-grain buns or slices of bread
- salt & black pepper – to taste
Directions:
- Whisk egg in large bowl
- Add beef, oats, onion, & cheese
- Mix with your hands until well blended
- Form meat into four patties
- Place burgers grill over medium-high.
- Cook for 6 minutes per side
- Put meat on buns
- Serve with toppings
Makes 4 servings at 320 calories & 9.3 g each.
